See below for information about the 2026 Spring intramural programs! ! Please use the links below to register for the programs indicated below. The Spring season will start the weekend of March 27th and end on the weekend of  June 5th. There will be no games on Easter, Mother's Day or Memorial Day weekend. Games will be no Friday nights and Sunday morning/afternoons at Kohler fields in Horsham, PA.

Coaches:  Volunteers keep this program going!  We always need individuals to coach our intramural teams.  Volunteers will be reimbursed $50 if they participate as a coach and complete all required clearances before the start of the season.​

INTRAMURALS

Intramural U6 – U14 

Programs available for players born between 2012 and 2020. Program overview:

    • Games: Friday evenings and Sunday morning/afternoons at Kohler fields.

    • Practice: Once a week for U8/U10/U12/U14 programs.

    • Trophies: Participation trophies U6 program.

    • Playoffs/Tournaments: Playoffs/tournament in applicable age brackets (with trophies). 

    • Uniforms:  All players receive a uniform.

    • Cost: $105 a player with multiplayer discount.

U15 - U18  COED Intramural 

Pick-up style games w/referee will be played on Friday evening or Sunday early evening at Kohler Turf Field. (No practices)  Cost is $105 a player with multiplayer discount.​​

UNION REC

Union Rec (3 year old program):

The Philadelphia Union are excited to bring Union Rec soccer to Horsham Soccer Association. Union Rec, is a recreational program that provides girls and boys, with a fun, affordable, local neighborhood soccer experience. Over the course of the season, players will learn the game in a fun and developmental environment, all while playing alongside their friends in the local community.

​PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

  • Recreational program operated by the Philadelphia Union.

  • Players provided Philadelphia Union branded jerseys.

  • 8 week program.

  • 45 minute sessions held on Sunday mornings.

  • Sessions run by Philadelphia Union coaches.

  • Open to all skill levels.

  • Everyone plays.

SPRING SCHEDULE

Scheduling will be done through TeamSnap.  All players will receive an invitation to join TeamSnap once placed on team in the Spring.  

 

Field cancellations will be done through TeamSnap and Facebook.

SPRING INTRAMURAL TEAM ROSTERS

Teams will receive rosters and schedules via TeamSnap. Players should be contacted via TeamSnap in late March/early April.

2024 SPRING INTRAMURAL PROGRAM DETAILS

Program Details

PHILOSOPHY/FOCUS

Player development, sportsmanship, teamwork, physical conditioning, and FUN

ELIGIBILITY

Kids born in 2019 and before are eligible.

Only intramural player are permitted to sign up; carded travel player are not permitted.

Superhero Program is available for players born in 2020 and 2021.

UNIFORM

Includes soccer shirt

No tryouts.

LOCATION OF GAMES

Games will be played at Kohler fields.

Please note - it is possible games will be moved to Carpenter Park or Lakeside Field based on field availability. 

FORMAT

Superhero = skills and drills, U6 = 4 v 4, no goalies; U8 = 7 v 7, includes goalie; U10 = 7 v 7, includes goalie; U12 = 9 v 9, includes goalie; U14 & U16 = 11 v11, includes goalie  (NOTE:  if total enrollment for U12, U14 or U16 boys or girls divisions does not include enough players, a 7 v 7 or 9 v 9 format may be adopted to permit the formation of enough teams)

GAME DAY TIME SLOT

75-minutes to divide between game time, half time (5 mins) and warmup/practice time  i. U6:  games = 4 x 8 minute quarters (32 mins of game time)  ii. U8 – U15: 2 x 25 minute halves (50 mins of game time)

GAME DAY

Friday Evenings and Sunday afternoons for all programs.
